Finished Items

I am in the finishing mood at the moment and have finally finished my RYC Cashsoft cardigan yesterday. I am not very happy with how I did the rib for the button bank but really can't be bothered ripping it all back. I guess it will bother me every sing time I'm going to wear it. Sorry about the blurry photo's I don't know what's wrong with the camera.

I now how three pairs of socks to finish (I think I may have the one sock syndrome) and two shawls. I am going to try to be good and not start something new until I've done all those but to be honest I don't like my chances. I was just thinking yesterday that I have so many things that I would like to knit I will never get to do it all but I guess that's like most of us knitters at my age anyway.

Another finished item is the scarf for my ISE4 Pal, Ted wanted to pose wearing it. This is one of my teddy bears that I made a couple of years ago. He is made from Chocolate brown Alpaca and his pads are leather. Making teddy bears is one of my other passions.

I have made quiet a few and collected some from overseas as well.

Purchases
I've been shopping again too and bought some yarns from The Knittery and Yarnsonline. Here's what I bought, the hand dyed yarns are not for me although I couldn't help myself and bought a skein of the Dark Reds colourway sock yarn for my stash.

The Orange Blossom lace is a gift for someone and I can't say who just yet until they receive it as it's a surprise.

The Cotton Fine was on special and I couldn't resist I am going to knit a shawl with it. The colour is Provincial Rose and it's really lovely. The Lantern Moon rosewood dpns feel great and I can't wait to use them. And the book of course is for my knitting library collection which has grown enormously in the past few years .

Well I guess that's about it for today. I am having my daughter and her partner for lunch and picking son up from a friends house where he went for a sleep over last night.

Have a great Sunday everyone and I will see you all in our world of blogs.

Happy knitting everyone!

Your sweater looks lovely as does the scarf!
Have you ever tried making bears with patterns from Barbara Irwin-Shynkaryk? I've only made 4 bears thus far and they've all been with her patterns. Mohair bodies and felted wool pads.

It's so wonderful to make them, isn't it. Such a thrill to see them come to 'life' as you progress through the process.

The sweater is great and so is the scarf. I love your little Ted, and I will so have to get around to knitting one one of these days as they look so cute. Those yarns are gorgeous, and I am really looking forward to seeing photo's of what you knit with them.
I now have several books in my knitting library, so will have to make a special spot available in one of my book cases, otherwise they will just sit on the coffee table, which is not a good place to be.

Great cardigan. Love the colour.

Teddy is very, very cute. Could you post an upclose photo???

I keep seeing Knittery wool everywhere and am feeling quite resentful of my yarn diet!!!
